CAIRO: The want-out playmaker joined his teammates in Alexandria on Tuesday, having been absent since the start of the pre-season camp since it started last week.
FilGoal.com learnt that the 22-year-old was involved in a fiery conversation with manager Hossam Hassan in a friendly against Wadi Degla eight days ago.
"He will surely be disciplined according to the club’s regulations," Zamalek director Ibrahim Hassan said.
"The punishment of a player who misses training without permission normally rises ascendingly, but Shikabala has been absent for almost a week.
"In this case there will be a new point of view according to what the management sees."
Shikabala is believed to be desperate for a move to Europe amid serious interest from Belgian champions Anderlecht.
However, Zamalek have repeatedly acted against their star man’s wish by turning down a couple of offers from abroad.
