CAIRO: Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan named striker Amr Zaki in his 20-man list for Thursday’s league opener at Harras Hodoud.
Zaki has been struggling with a pelvic injury recently, but managed to make the squad’s trip to Alexandria.
Midfielder Hassan Mostafa, who had the same problem, was not on the list, as well as new signing Emad Mohamed.
The list included all other new recruits Mohamed Youness, Ashour Al-Adham, Wagih Abdul-Azim, Abou Kone and Essam Al-Hadari, with the latter cleared after he had his 4-month ban frozen.
Youngsters Ahmed Ezz, Mohamed Refai and Mostafa Hegab were surprise inclusions.
