CAIRO: Heartland chairman Ignatius Okeahialam promised Ismaili the best possible reception in Nigeria ahead of both teams’ Champions League meetings.

Ahly filed complaints against Heartland when the Nigerian outfit hosted the Egyptian champions in the continental competition last month.

At the time, the Red Devils accused Heartland of deliberately neglecting their duty as the home side.

Ahly said their opponents did not book them a domestic flight to the city where the match was played.

The Cairo giants also voiced disgruntlement with the training pitch.

However, Okeahialam played down Ahly’s grumbles, saying Ismaili will be completely comfortable during their trip.

"Ismaili will get five-star treatment in Nigeria," he told FilGoal.com. "I am sure it will be the same when they host us."

Ismaili will host Heartland in mid-August and the other way around later in the same month.

Heartland lie third in the Champions League Group B with a sole point while Ismaili are languishing at the bottom with no points at all.

Kabylie are on top of the group with six points, two ahead of second-placed Ahly.
