CAIRO: Ismaili skipper Mohamed Hommos believes the Dervishes can keep their Champions League hopes alive with a double victory over Nigeria’s Heartland.
After losing their opening two games, Ismaili are braced for a crucial double-header against the Nigerian champions, who have a single point.
"I think there is still some hope, but only if we win the next two games against Heartland," Hommos told FilGoal.com.
"We are steadily improving and I think we’ll be in good shape against the Nigerian side."
Ismaili were off to an impressive league start after beating Petrojet 1-0 away last week, courtesy of a goal from Nigerian striker Godwin Ndubuisi.
