CAIRO: The average yield on Egyptian 91-day Treasury bills rose to 9.708 percent at an auction on Sunday from 9.501 percent last week.
The central bank accepted bids for bills worth LE 1 billion ($175 million), the same amount it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 9.4 percent and 9.8 percent versus 9.468 and 9.552 percent, at the previous auction.
The bills are for issue on Aug. 17 and mature on Nov. 16.
