DUBAI: Saudi Arabia raised its official selling prices (OSPs) for its benchmark Arab Light and other grades to customers in Asia, the United States and Europe in October, state oil firm Saudi Aramco said on Sunday.
The kingdom raised the price of Arab Light to U.S. customers by 10 cents a barrel to WTI minus 35 cents, Aramco said in a statement.
It raised the Arab Light price for customers in the Far East by 15 cents to the Oman/Dubai average minus 50 cents a barrel.
Saudi Arabia raised the price to buyers of Arab Light in the Mediterranean by $1.45.
A Reuters survey of refiners and traders had predicted Saudi Arabia would raise prices of all its crudes heading to Asia for October as demand recovers from recent weakness and refining margins improve, after prices fell to 20-month lows.
A poll of five refiners and traders showed that all expected the top oil exporter to raise OSPs across the grades.
