CAIRO: Ahmed Elmohamady is ready to feature in Sunderland’s next Premier League clash against Arsenal after shaking off a minor knock.

The Egypt international was taken off after just 32 minute in the Black Cats’ 1-1 draw at Wigan last week, shortly before a challenge by an opposition.

But Sunderland said on their official site that the 23-year-old was able to train well ahead of Saturday’s game with the Gunners.

Elmohamady started in all of Sunderland’s four Premier League games so far, playing the whole game in the team’s only win over Manchester City.

Sunderland are currently 10th of the Premier League table, having amassed five points so far in the competition.
