Egypt 273-day T-bills avg yield down at 10.275 pct

CAIRO: The average yield on Egyptian 273-day Treasury bills dipped to 10.275 percent at an auction on Monday from 10.298 percent at the last auction on Aug.30.

The central bank said it accepted bids for bills worth LE 3 billion ($526.4 million), the same amount it was seeking.

It accepted bids at rates between 10.2 and 10.325 percent, down from 10.24-10.341 percent at the previous auction.

The bills are for issue on Sept. 28 and mature on June 28, 2011.
