CAIRO: Zamalek are yet to decide whether or not to let Shikabala leave in the winter, Whites’ interim chief Galal Ibrahim stated.

Belgian sides Standard Liege and Anderlecht renewed their interest in the Egypt playmaker shortly after Mamdouh Abbas, who was determined to keep hold of him, was sacked as Zamalek president.

With Ibrahim at the club’s helm, Zamalek seem to be more open to offers for Shika but the Cairo club are yet to decide on his future.

Galal says the five-time African champions will only agree to sell their prized asset should they secure a competent replacement for him.

"We will sit down with the Belgian delegation (from Standard) and will name our financial demands," he told Dream TV.

"We won’t make a final decision right away. We first need to know the requirements of the technical staff led by twin brothers Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan (head coach and football director respectively)."

Zamalek have just approached MCDR’s skillful schemer Ayman Hefni, who produced a host of impressive displays this season.
