Orascom Housing Communities (OHC) are embarking on a new low-income housing project, Qena Gardens, in Upper Egypt, the developer said in a statement.
Located 5 km from Qena’s city center, the project will span 2.8 million square meters, modeled after OHC’s flagship project, Haram City.
Omar Elhitamy, OHC managing director, said, “The gap between supply and demand in housing is not limited to Cairo, but in fact it is an issue that affects Egyptians all over the country.”
Qena Gardens will offer different unit sizes with two, three, or four bedrooms that are either fully or semi-finished, the statement read. Ground floor units will have access to the garden and those on the second floor will provide roof access.
