The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills fell a fraction to 9.778 percent at an auction on Sunday versus 9.976 percent at last week’s auction, the Central Bank of Egypt said.
The central bank accepted bids worth 2 billion Egyptian pounds ($348 million), the same amount that it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 9.67 and 9.8 percent versus 9.8-10.021 percent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on Nov 9 and mature on May 10, 2011.
