CAIRO: The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills rose a little to 9.716 percent at an auction on Sunday from 9.635 percent at last Thursday’s auction, the Central Bank of Egypt said.
The central bank accepted bids worth LE 2 billion ($347.766 million), the same amount that it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 9.639 and 9.769 percent versus 9.498-9.71 percent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on Nov. 23 and mature on May 24, 2011.
