Zamalek full-back Sabri Rahil intends to stay with the Cairo club despite struggling to find a regular place within Hossam Hassan’s selection.
The 23-year-old, who joined from MCDR in 2007, has been playing second fiddle to Egypt left-back Mohamed Abdul-Shafi since Hassan has taken charge last year.
While admitting he has received overtures from other clubs, Rahil is unwilling to leave the Whites in the meantime.
“I am not thinking about leaving especially after the manager had told me that he wants me,” he said.
“I didn’t talk to anyone about the offers I got because I didn’t want to leave in the first place.
“I am happy about the manager reluctance to sell me and now I want to work hard in order to be ready at any time.”
