The average yield on Egyptian 273-day treasury bills inched up to 10.661 percent on Monday from 10.514 percent at the last week’s auction.
The central bank accepted bids for bills worth LE 3.5 billion ($602.64 million), the same amount it was seeking.
The rates of the accepted bids ranging from 10.501 to 10.7 percent, versus 10.400 to 10.564 percent at the previous auction.
The bills are for issue on Dec. 28 and mature on Sept. 27, 2011.
