Who else can one rely on in Egypt to remind us of our fashionable and nationalistic inclinations other than Azza Fahmy?

The woman who defined “Bedouin chic” made local jewelry something to covet, be inspired by and take pride in; reminding us season after season what’s special about being Egyptian.

Within days of the unfortunate New Year’s bombing that took place outside an Alexandria church, Fahmy reminded us once again that there are no divisions.

A charmingly delicate silver chain bracelet with the phrase “Ana Masry” (I am Egyptian), has been designed with all proceeds made throughout the month of January and February going to the church of Saint Marc and Saint Peter in Alexandria.

The brand’s charity initiative has supported various causes on a monthly basis over the past two years. Proceeds have been previously allocated to the Abou El-Rish Hospital for children and the Aswan flash floods disaster relief effort.

The bracelet is now available in Azza Fahmy stores across Egypt for LE 250.
