CAIRO: Logistics and transportation solutions provider Aramex said its Egypt operations have fully resumed following a temporary suspension due to the ongoing nationwide mass protests, according to a statement.
Aramex’s Egypt operations were suspended temporarily as a precautionary measure “to ensure the safety of its employees in the country. Having closely monitored the situation Aramex was able to resume full operations on Feb. 5.”
Samer Gharaibeh, Aramex CEO in Africa, said: "The safety of our employees has been our number one priority throughout the current period in Egypt. After a short suspension, our operations in the country have resumed.
“We will continue to closely monitor developments in Egypt to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our customers while ensuring the safety of our employees."
