As we change the history of Egypt forever, as the world witnesses this change, one of the most peaceful and civilized revolutions by the people for the people in the modern history of the world, we, a group of Egyptian youth still stand on solid grounds with firm steps forward.

Repeating the slogans of the revolution through the crystal-clear voice of freedom and human rights, we demand the removal of the president and the regime. And if there was a shred of doubt on the fairness and legitimacy of what we were calling for, a good 13 days have proven to the world that this regime with all its symbols must go due to its reaction to the events in Tahrir Square, starting with police attacks on peaceful demonstrators and ending with the complete lack of security and chaos when prisoners were deliberately let loose and the police force ordered to withdraw.

The entire country is now being depleted because of an arrogant regime that refuses to admit its faults or leave in peace.

As we mourn the 300 who have died amongst us, those who are indefinitely missing, as the pain crushes our hearts for those wounded, we still stand strong and more loyal to our mission, we the youth of Egypt still stand by our demands to hold accountable all those responsible for the fundamental damages caused to the country in the past two weeks.

For those who fear that the youth of Egypt don’t have a real vision for change, I say that we do know for sure what we don’t want. It has become clear that our voice will always be an earnest reflection of what we aspire for regarding how we want our country and our lives to run and who will be our next president and our next government.

We are grateful to all other political parties, who contributed to call for the Jan. 25 protests. They are surely all welcome to represent themselves and assist in making a better Egypt, but still the leading voice will remain for that of the Jan.25 youth and all their supporters.

Egypt, not only helped by its geographic location, but by the tremendous potential of its people hold, was bound to be one of the strongest countries in the world, had our resources not been depleted by corruption and tyranny.

We call on all Egyptian public figures, all international leaders and all the people of the world to stand in support of our peaceful, civilized and humane revolution.

And finally, this revolution is as clean and holy as the blood of its martyrs. It is by the people for the people.
