LONDON: An International Sugar Organization (ISO) conference set to take place in Aswan between March 5-8 has been postponed due to political upheaval in Egypt, Reuters reported.

"Please save the dates of 3-6 March 2012 when we hope very much to hold the conference in Aswan with largely the same program," the London-based ISO said in a statement signed by Executive Director Peter Baron.

Similarly, the London Business Forum Middle East, scheduled for this month, was also postponed. Titled “Building the Great,” organizers said “the launch event of the London Business Forum Middle East is on hold, but our activities are not.”

“We are calibrating our efforts today and we will be back with a new modus operandi, we will be working more actively than ever to build the Great, definitely different but with the same purpose of enabling individuals and organizations to conquer the future and win big.”
