CAIRO: Egypt’s central bank said it sold LE 5 billion ($841 million) in domestic treasury bills on Sunday, the same amount it was seeking (CBEY).
The bank sold LE 1.5 billion of 91-day T-bills at an average yield of 11.201 percent, down from 11.349 percent at last week’s auction.
The bank also sold LE 3.5 billion of 266-day T-bills at an average yield of 12.196 percent, down from 12.473 percent at last issue on March 8.
