CAIRO: Egypt’s Ministry of Finance said the central bank sold LE 5 billion ($838.5 million) in domestic treasury bills on Thursday, the same amount it had offered.
The central bank sold LE 1.5 billion of 182-day T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry at an average yield of 12.385 percent, down from 12.544 percent at last week’s auction.
The bank also sold LE 3.5 billion of 350-day T-bills at an average yield of 12.781 percent, down from 12.982 percent at the last issue on June 28.
