CAIRO: Egypt’s central bank sold LE 5 billion ($837.82 billion) in domestic treasury bills on Sunday, the same amount it had offered, the bank said.
The bank sold LE 1.5 billion pounds of 91-day T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry at an average yield of 11.928 percent, up from 11.907 percent at last week’s auction.
It also sold 3.5 billion pounds of 273-day T-bills at an average yield of 12.932 percent, up from 12.858 percent at the last issue on Aug 2.
