They arrived just in time. As the weather turned grey and cloudy to announce that summer has well and truly gone, glimmers of hope and rays of warmth can be found all over the city.
Stacked in pretty pyramids or spilling out of boxes stuffed to the rim; they brighten up their surroundings with their cheerful colour and promise of juicy, healthy sweetness.
Never mind the weather – the oranges are back.
