Boy dies in Damanhour clashes

A 15-year-old boy was reported dead on Sunday night after clashes erupted  between protesters in Damanhour city in Al Beheira governorate.

Demonstrators flooded the city’s main square to protests the latest presidential decree. Violence ensued between them and Muslim brotherhood sympathisers leading to the death of Islam  Fathi Masoud and several others injured. Masoud is said to belong to the Muslim Brotherhood youth.

As clashes continue, the number of injuries from both sides rises with only unofficial estimates available, claiming 34 injuries so far. Central Security Forces moved to the streets, attempting to stop the clashes.
