Clashes erupted on Thursday afternoon between members of the Central Security Forces and protesters trying to pull down one of the concrete barriers on Qasr Al-Eini Street

State-owned MENA reported that protesters threw rocks at the CSF who responded with tear gas and warning shots.

Five CSF officers were reported injured. It was unclear how many protesters were injured.
