Value of all trades on stock exchange for Egypt’s ten largest brokerage firms totals EGP 7.1bn for February

The value of deals done by Egypt’s ten largest brokerage firms for the month of February totalled EGP 7.1m, with the Commercial International Brokerage Company (CIBC) ranking highest with EGP 1.17m stocks traded. Hermes Brokerage followed closely with EGP 1.12m worth of stocks traded, and Financial Brokerage Group placed third with EGP 852.8m.

Other companies in the top ten included HSBC Securities, Pioneers Holding, Beltone Financial, Pharos, Sigma, Arabic Online, and Naeem Brokerage.

Pioneers Holding, Beltone Financial and the Financial Brokerage Group published their stock trading information online.

On the Nile stock exchange, the Mediterranean Company and Pioneers Holding ranked joint highest in total amounts of stock traded.

Hermes, Pioneers Holding and Arabic Online all ranked first in the amount of investments made by individuals, while HSBC Securities, the Financial Brokerage Group and the Commercial International Brokerage Company ranked first in investments received from companies and institutions.

Hermes and the Financial Brokerage Group ranked highest in terms of amount of investments received from Arab countries, while HSBC Securities, the Commercial International Brokerage Company, and the Financial Brokerage Group received the most from foreign investors.
