The Arabia Group showcased its new project Galleria Moon Valley at the Cityscape Egypt 2013 conference earlier this week.

“Being in cityscape Egypt is an opportunity to meet global investors and interact with them to project a positive image about the Egyptian economy, and to confirm its ability to surpass the current obstacles,” Chairman of Arabia Group Tarek Shoukry said. “And also to prove that the Egyptian market is ready to regain the growth rates of the real estate sector, which is a good opportunity for investments in all sectors.”

He also added that the Galleria Moon Valley project represented “a new concept in property development in Egypt”. This concept, he said, will ultimately result in a shift in the conventional perception of luxury communities, which are limited to unique architectural designs among large landscapes, “and will set new horizons for specialised residential communities”.

He added that the project “pays special attention to fine art”. Buildings at the residential community will display works of art by famous artists, with decorative art placed in art school buildings located throughout the community. “This is not only a luxury residential project or a leisure community,” he said, “but also an invitation to join a community that ‘enjoys life’ because it appreciates the importance of fine art and its positive effect on people and society.”

Galleria Moon Valley extends over 71 feddans split into seven residential areas containing 105 buildings. Residents will have access to facilities and services which include six swimming pools, botanical gardens and children’s playgrounds which cover around 45% of the compound.

There will also be retail outlets, a social centre home to a music academy for children, “the biggest art gallery in Egypt”, a private family movie theatre, and a study room for students.

Shoukry added that the project will cater specifically to large families. “The spaces range from 118m to 400m ground floor apartments with spacious gardens, swimming pools and a private entrance,” Shoukry revealed.

Galleria Moon Valley will also include penthouses “with diverse designs projecting an unconventional outlook on life”.
