During a mass on 25 April in famous cave church, the Saint Samaans church in Moqattam, worshippers were sprayed with holy water by the priests.

The Coptic community in Egypt will be fasting for one last week before their Easter celebrations on 5 May.

The Holy week will start from today, Sunday 28 April with Palm Sunday and many church services will be celebrated in the days leading up to Easter Sunday.
