Military delegation heads to Turkey

General Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, the Commander in Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, is leading a delegation to Turkey on Sunday, an army spokesperson confirmed. The delegation will meet a number of senior Turkish officials and discuss military cooperation between both nations.

Al-Sisi left on a private plane accompanied by 11 officials, and is scheduled to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart on the latest developments in the Syrian crisis. The two sides are also expected to discuss cooperation on mutual training exercises.
