Nokia releases its newest smartphone, the Lumia 925.

The company has described the new model as a reinterpretation of its flagship Nokia Lumia 920, noting that includes “the most advanced lens technology and next generation imaging software, which allows users to take the best low-light images.”The new model employs a Windows 8 operating system with 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, housed in an aluminium and plastic chassis.

“We keep innovating,” said Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Smart Devices. “We are advancing experiences on the Nokia Lumia portfolio, whether that means great new benefits for an existing Lumia owner, or bringing new showcase devices like the Nokia Lumia 925.”

The statement also mentioned that the new Lumia 925 is outfitted with a 4.5 inch WXGA sculpted clear black display, while boasting 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and 7 GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage.

“Together with Nokia, we’re continuing to change the way people think about smartphone cameras,” said Terry Myerson, corporate vice president of Microsoft Windows Phone Division. “The work Nokia has done with the Lumia 925 further enhances the imaging capabilities of the Lumia smartphones.”

Lumia 925 also comes with Hipstamatic’s new app, as well as Oggl, which allows users take and share high quality pictures simultaneously.
