The work of artists often reflect the realities of life, and never more so than in the art of graffiti. On the wall on Mohamed Mahmoud Street a large graffiti shows Jika, the 16 year-old member of the 6 April movement who was shot, and later died of his injuries, in that very street during protests against the constitutional decree issued by then president Morsi.
During a Tamarod demonstration earlier this month the protesters that gathered in Mohamed Mahmoud Street showed that the writing on the wall still tells the story of today.
