Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson, Gehad El Haddad said, in a phone call with Daily News Egypt, that the group behind the military coup is composed of “conspirators who will be brought to justice.”
He added that the Brotherhood does not recognise the interim government and will not participate in the transitional phase roadmap.
El Haddad also dismissed Prime Minister Hazem El Beblawi’s statements, reaffirming that the Brotherhood will not disperse their sit-ins. He also said that if they are dispersed by force, the result will be “doubled sit-ins” predicting that “every one gone will spring two more”.
When asked about the Brotherhood’s future steps after today’s marches he said, “more protests and marches” and invited everyone to “come and see the peaceful sit-ins for themselves”.
