The United Bank announced the beginning of a cash transfer service in Egyptian pounds at its ATMs across the country.
The client can insert the amount to be transferred into Egyptian pounds into United Bank ATMs, and the service includes a free deposit. Special instructions for the transfer follow, and after 30 seconds, the procedure is complete.
The user is now able to withdraw the transferred amount from any ATM belongings to the United Bank without any restrictions on time or place.
This service is provided to bank clients and non-clients alike, at the 200 ATMs dispersed throughout the country, which operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Bank Mohamed Ashmawy said that the implementation of this new service seeks to complete the trajectory of performance and success that the bank has achieved in the area of incoming and outgoing cash transfers in the past.
The bank received two international awards this year, one from the American Standard Chartered Bank and one from the MoneyGram International Foundation. The bank achieved this global recognition due to the quality, speed and precision of its services in accordance with international standards.
Ashmawy explained that the new technology implemented at 200 ATMs would save the time and effort normally lost during the transfer process. Transfers are provided around the clock without any restrictions of time or place.
He added that the United Bank always aims to implement the most modern technology for its customers in the Egyptian market. Likewise, it always works to continually improve the level of its services to increasingly meet their needs.
Ashmawy clarified that the United Bank’s ATMs provide a number of other electronic services for a broad base of people, whether members or non-members. These include check deposits (members only), exchange of foreign currencies (everyone), Payment service for Vodafone (everyone), Payment service for Link Dot Net (everyone), and of course, the new transfer service. The bank is also coordinating with Mobinil.
Those are in addition to the traditional banking services like withdrawals, deposits, checking balances and printing bank statements. All of these are provided with the highest levels of speed, precision and security.
These services are provided around the clock, seven days a week, in order to allow clients to complete all their banking needs quickly, safely and privately, without the need to go to one of the bank’s branches.
The bank has 50 branches and 200 ATMs in all of Egypt’s governorates. This is part of the bank’s ambitious and comprehensive plan to increase the number of its branches and services.
