Saudi donates 3 tape digitisers to Egypt for broadcasting services

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture and Information, Abdul Aziz bin Muhiyuddin Khoja, has provided Egypt with three tape digitisers for the Radio and Television Union (ERTU).

Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmad bin Abdul-Aziz Kattan said the digitisers will help implement the Egypt’s Broadcasting and Television Heritage Office’s restoration and digitisation project of old tapes.

Kattan pointed out that this move shows the Saudi government’s desire to provide all manner of support and continued cooperation between the two countries.

The ERTU sent a letter of appreciation to Khoja, showing appreciation of the support the cooperation between the two countries.
