The Anti-Coup Alliance called for million man march on Tuesday under the banner “God is Great… One Hand”.
The call comes just days after the Cairo Criminal Court’s dismissal of charges against former president Hosni Mubarak, his sons, former interior minister Habib Al-Adly, and six of his aides.
In a Monday statement, the pro-Morsi alliance, asked its supporters to mobilise in Tahrir Square and other “symbols of revolution to demand the right of the martyrs, to continue pressuring until the demands of the 25 January”.
The group has been recently calling all revolutionary groups to “rebuild the dissent to fight oppression”. A legal group affiliated with the alliance, the anti-coup Independence of the Judiciary Front (IJF) in Egypt rejected the verdict, adding it will challenge the court’s decision, describing it as “flawed”
