Armed forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by four Palestinians Friday, killing one of them and arresting the other three as they were trying to cross the Egyptian borders from Palestine, read a statement from the military spokesman Saturday.
The infiltrated Palestinians are currently under investigation regarding their reasons behind crossing the borders, said a representative from the military spokesman’s office.
Palestinian news agency Ma’an reported that the infiltrators’ age ranges between 17 and 20.
The military spokesman further told Daily News Egypt that another 30 “wanted elements, trespassers and suspected terrorists” were arrested in Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai .
