Bavarian Auto Group (BAG), the manufacturer and seller for BMW and Mini Cooper, is prepared to launch the new Active Tourer BMW Series 2, which belongs to SUV middle-sized cars. The car’s cost is expected to be at EGP 335,000.
Yahia Abdel Kodouss, marketing director of BMW at BAG, stated that the company is about to launch the new Series 2 of BMW in the following few days. BMW’s new car is expected to attract new clients. The car is offered for the first time to Egypt and the company’s interest is to offer these types of cars to the local market.
Abdel Kodouss declared that this was the first car in the series, and that the company provided several cars for the past months for testing in the local market and to introduce them to the clients. He also said that the car meets the demands of the Egyptian client and efficiency in the local market, adding that BAG already did this and is receiving positive feedback from clients.
In the following days, BAG will start to import the car and officially offer it to the market. BMW’s car has a 3-cylinder engine and is 1,500cc.
