Mobica Office Furniture plans to increase the number of agents in the car sector during 2015 through negotiations with several car companies, the most prominent being GB Ghabbour Auto.
Marketing Manager Mohamed Ismail told Daily News Egypt that Mobica is negotiating with GB Ghabbour Auto to supply car interior pieces, adding that the company already deals with car assembly companies including Mercedez-Benz, Nissan, and Suzuki.
Ismail stated that the company’s sales of car interiors in 2014 were at EGP 350m of the total sales, which amounted to EGP 700m, so that car interior sales made up to 50% of the company’s sales.
Mobica has 19 factories in the Industrial Zone in Abu Rawash, with a total land space of 280,000sqm and 2,400 employees, according to Ismail
Mobica Office Furniture is an Egyptian company established by Farouk Abd El-Meneam in 1976. It started off with one factory and a small number of workers, and now it is one of the biggest companies in Egypt with a lot of factories and branching companies. It specialises in office and hotel furniture, in addition to furniture for hospitals, labs, schools and universities.
