UBIFRANCE and the IFA (Invest in France Agency) merged to form Business France, according to a statement from the French embassy in Cairo on Wednesday.
Business France is a national agency supporting the French economy’s international development. It is responsible for fostering French businesses’ export growth, as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France.
It promotes French companies, business image and nationwide attractiveness as an investment location, according to the statement.
Business France has 1,500 personnel, both in France and in 70 countries throughout the world, who work with a network of public- and private-sector partners.
In the region, Business France is represented in the following countries and regions: the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. The regional office is based in Dubai (UAE).
Business France’s three missions are: fostering export growth by French businesses, promoting and facilitating international investment in France, and promoting France’s companies, business image and nationwide attractiveness as an investment location.
