Logistics company DHL has been named as the only company providing logistics support for the Economic Summit.
It will conduct all the logistics for transporting equipment and machinery necessary for the Economic Summit, according to a DHL press statement Sunday.
DHL Egypt manager Ahmed Elfangary said the company has distributed hundreds of invitations to VIPs, including senior officials from participating countries and heads and managers of international companies.
Elfangary added the company will contribute in support of the Economic Summit by providing freight shipping documents of the conference for all attendees from Egypt to serve anywhere in the world.
“DHL will be the main company responsible for transferring all logistical needs of the conference from Cairo to Sharm El-Sheikh,” Elfangary said. “As well, DHL will provide delivery service to anywhere in the world, allowing all the summit’s delegations and delegates charge up to 2kg of Summit’s materials anywhere around the world for free.”
Elfangary confirmed that DHL will put great effort into participating in the success of the conference, and thus participate in the delivery of Egypt’s future vision to the world.
The company intends to increase its investments in Egypt by adding new shipping lanes and offering logistical services to its centre in Cairo International Airport, as part of its plan to develop its business in the Egyptian market.
