Moaaz El-Beheiry displayed his collection at the Cairo Fashion Festival’s fourth session, with great distinction in his choice of fashionable suits, garnering major media attention.
His collection seamlessly transforms the look of a classic suit into its youthful counterpart, free from colour and length restrictions, and he believes a fashion show is the best way to get acquainted with the needs of the audience, as well as meet competitors in order to generate a new creative atmosphere.
“There must be more fashion shows, and there must be a formation that brings together young designers in an effort to make them better informed about international design, and give them the opportunity to exchange views and discuss the problems of the profession. We are seriously thinking of founding a league that brings us together to develop our skills and collect all that has been designed so that nothing is redone,” El-Beheiry said.
As for the latest colours for men in summer 2015, more toned down shades of beige and light blues are taking the forefront, as well as a collection of pastel colours and soft floral colours, with a move away from strong colours.
Crimson is back in evening suits, and the collection offers something different in terms of accessories, experimenting with the size of buttons, necks and cuffs, making a subtle but powerful break with tradition.
