Two died and a third was injured following an explosion inside the Al-Korymat power station in Giza Friday morning, according to an interior ministry statement.
The explosion was caused by an oxygen cylinder exploding as workers were conducting routine maintenance on the electricity station. The casualties were transferred to hospital.
