Mubasher Financial Services’ chairman honoured at AEF’s 23rd session

Mohamed Al-Ballaa, Chairman of Mubasher Financial Services and Executive Chairman of NTG,was honoured with a prestigious award at the 23rd session of the Arab Economic Forum (AEF).

The award comes in recognition of his businesses vision and success over the last 30 years, during which he played a fundamental role in the launch of a range of businesses in Saudi Arabia, which have risen to become market leaders in their field.

The companies he currently leads include: National Technology Group (NTG), which has more than 20 subsidiaries with 3,000 IT professional employees; DirectFn Group, a leading electronic trade and brokerage technology provider and a market data specialist in the region; and Mubasher Financial Services, one of the region’s leading financial services firms.

Commenting on the award, Al-Ballaa said: “I am truly humbled to receive this award at this year’s AEF and to join the distinguished list of business leaders who have been recognised for their contribution to the region’s economy and its on-going growth.”

Throughout the years, the AEF has hosted several prominent international and Arab figures such as the former Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad, and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al-Maktoum.

AEF is a recognised platform to debate ideas, exchange views, launch initiatives and network with regional and international business, government and civil society leaders.
