In the competition between the three mobile service providers in the Egyptian market, reaching clients efficiently and quickly is required. Customer service centres also play a strong role in maintaining current clients and attracting more from competitors.

Etisalat Egypt has the most widespread customer service branches, thanks to its partnership with the Egypt Post, which owns 20% of Etisalat Egypt. The company delivers services to its clients through more than 500 branches affiliated to the post. There are also 101 branches directly affiliated to the company, which gives it the advantage of being more widespread compared to its competitors. Etisalat reached 22.2 million clients by the end of March.

Despite Vodafone’s top place in the mobile service operators market, the company acquired second place in terms of the spread of the company’s customer service branches, which reached 203 branches. The number of Vodafone clients amounted to 40.02 million.

Cairo acquired the largest share of Vodafone’s customer service branches, with 111 branches. Alexandria acquired the second position, followed by the Delta area. The rest of the branches are distributed among governorates in Upper Egypt.

Among the three mobile service providers, Mobinil acquired third place. Mobinil customer service branches reached 108 branches. The highest number was in Cairo, where 85 branches are located. Thirty-seven branches are located in Delta, while 13 are located in Upper Egypt. According to the latest indicators released last March by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mobinil clients numbered at more than 33.7 million.
