Prices of 23 cars increase in October

More than 20 car models’ prices increased in early October compared to September.

Bavarian Auto Group, the agent for BMW in Egypt, increased prices for the I320 and X3 models by EGP 5,000 each, to reach EGP 410,000 and EGP 510,000 respectively, while the X5’s price increased by EGP 17,000, reaching EGP 985,000.

Al-Mansour Automotive, the agent for Chevrolet cars, raised the price of the Aveo by EGP 1,500, to reach EGP 107,250.

The Mitsubishi Lancer’s price amounted to EGP 137,000, recording an increase of EGP 2,000 compared to its price in September, which was EGP 135,000.

GB Ghabbour Auto, the agent for Hyundai and Geely cars in Egypt, raised the prices of the Geely models, Emgrand 7, Pandino and XPandino by EGP 3,000 each, to reach EGP 89,000, EGP 68,000 and EGP 89,000 respectively.

The Hyundai Verna price increased by EGP 5,000 to reach EGP 90,000 in early October, while the prices of the I10 and the Grand I10 increased by EGP 5,000 to reach EGP 96,500 and EGP 101,250 respectively.

Furthermore, the Hyundai Elantra’s price increased by EGP 7,500 to reach EGP 159,900, and the Hyundai Accent increased by EGP 7,000 to reach EGP 135,000. Hyundai’s ix35 model prices saw a leap of between EGP 13,000 and EGP 17,000, to range between EGP 227,000 and EGP 277,000.

Abdul Latif Jameel, the agent for Ford cars in Egypt, also increased the price of its cars; the Vista and Fusion increased by EGP 2,000, while the Kuga increased by EGP 8,000, the Ka by EGP 5,000, and the B-Max’s price increased by EGP 13,000.

The price of the Jeep Wrangler increased by EGP 13,000 to reach EGP 368,000, while the Grand Cherokee’s price amounted to EGP 579,000, marking an increase of EGP 60,000.

The price of the Toyota Avanza increased by EGP 7,400 to reach EGP 147,400, and the Volkswagen Passat’s price also increased by EGP 8,000, to reach EGP 247,000.
