Prime minister examines health, transportation sectors in Alexandria

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail announced Saturday several decisions regarding health conditions in his first tour outside Cairo to Alexandria.

The ministers of health, transportation, youth, planning, and local development accompanied the Ismail on his tour to Alexandria.

Ismail visited Al-Sharq Hospital in Al-Montaza City, where he ordered to remove the ramshackle buildings and to designate new buildings to establish heart surgery hospitals.  In addition to that, he announced to transfer tumour-ray devices, that the hospital does not take advantage of it, to other hospitals.

During the tour, Ismail also visited Al-Raml station and inspected a large number of public buses that have been developed within the work of raising technical efficiency. From March 2015 to August 2015, 83 buses and minibuses were repaired and developed, which cost the state EGP 10m. From September 2015 to December 2015, 56 car buses and minibuses were repaired and developed with a total estimated cost of EGP 7m.
