The General Division of Computer and Software at the Federation of Egypt Chambers of Commerce will hold two workshops in Sohag and Assiut on 21 and 22 October for companies working in the field of information technology, start-ups and youth entrepreneurs in the governorates of Upper Egypt.
Head of the division, Khalil Hassan Khalil, said that the cost of the training amounts to EGP 1.4m. The workshops aim to train companies in various governorates to keep up with the present technological changes and increase their competitiveness.
He added that the division will focus on helping computers and software companies, especially those located in Upper Egypt and Delta, to achieve higher growth rates through new initiatives that contribute to activating the local market. It will also focus on using technology to solve the problems many governorates face, like solid waste disposal, traffic, and others.
The division modified its training plans for this year to include a number of other aspects, most importantly training on international advanced technologies. The training also includes marketing mechanisms of the technological products and services, skills of innovation and entrepreneurship, developing the products to solve the problems facing the society and the local economy, and marketing through the social networks, in addition to other topics.
