Al-Sisi discusses development plans with health, transportation ministers

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with Minister of Transportation Saad El-Gioshy and Head of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation Abdel Aziz Seif to discuss the transportation system development plan, said presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef in a statement.

El-Gioshy discussed the ministry’s efforts to develop and increase the number of trains and carriages to receive more passengers and expand the fleet.

The ministry’s development plan was studied and set in cooperation with the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation. The plan includes renewing the railway infrastructure and stations, level crossings, electrical signals systems, as well as upgrading maintenance workshops

Al-Sisi also met with Minister of Health and Population Ahmed Emad El-Deen to discuss the transference of Egyptian doctors to foreign countries to benefit from the professional qualifications available and improve medical services provided to citizens in Egypt.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the significant features to advance the medical system in Egypt, to activate a medical insurance system for citizens, to improve public hospital services, to upgrade the nursing sector, and to develop the drug industry in Egypt.

In addition, the health minister noted the importance of creating a comprehensive inventory for all the medical equipment in all hospitals all over Egypt, and to note the shortages.

The ministry mentioned that the ministry has worked hard on developing several hospitals in various governorates, and to launch about 73 hospitals.

Meanwhile, President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi stressed the importance of aquaculture projects to increase production in a meeting with specialised companies affiliated to the Armed Forces and Armed Forces logistics.
