Etisalat Egypt’s revenues declined over the past nine months to $898.5m, compared to $953m during the corresponding period last year, acquiring about 8% of the total revenue, according to financial indicators of Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, listed in the Abu Dhabi stock market.
With these revenues, the company’s branch in Egypt occupied third place, behind the parent company in the UAE. Etisalat Egypt’s revenues from January until the end of September amounted to $6.1bn and Maroc Telecom achieved revenues of $1.6bn.
The company’s branch in Pakistan came in fourth place in terms of revenues during the past nine months by achieving $871m, while total revenues of the Etisalat Group amounted to $10.6bn during the period from January until the end of September 2015.
