In April, there were 979 Kuwaiti companies operating in Egypt and their total capitals recorded at $7bn, FEP Capital CEO Abdullah Al-Shaheen said.
Emir of Kuwait Sabah Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi are both contributing to increase Kuwaiti investment in the Egyptian market.
Al-Shaheen said the sustainability realised by the Kuwati exhibition in Egypt over eight consecutive years was positive for continuous and annual communication with investments in Egypt, which notable growth.
FEP Capital Company will participate in the Kuwaiti Week Exhibition in Egypt as a golden sponsor, Al-Shaheen said and that more than 70 Egyptian and Kuwaiti companies from private and public sectors will be participating. Major Kuwaiti investors and Egyptian business community representatives will also attend to offer opportunities to learn about new significant projects.
On Monday, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil, the Kuwaiti ambassador to Egypt, and a number of businessmen and public figures inaugurated the exhibition launched in Cairo and called “Kuwait is in Egypt”.
