EGP 700m expected investment for building materials, electronic products

China Homelife Egypt Exhibition will kick-off on Tuesday for the second time at the Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA), organised by Arabs Xpress for exhibitions in collaboration with the Chinese government.

More than 350 exhibitors will participate with more than 10,000 products.

The exhibitors are specialised in textiles and furnishings, household furniture, textiles and clothing, kitchens and bathrooms, electrical appliances, home appliances, building materials, electronic devices, lighting accessories, leather, gifts and toys.

The Chinese exhibition will be held in several countries such as Brazil, Turkey, Dubai, Poland, India, Jordan, South Africa and Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the organising company, Ahmed Raafat, said the exhibition targets businessmen, investors, producers, and entrepreneurs. The exhibition will showcase construction materials, communications and IT, fabrics, furniture, clothes, kitchen and bathroom designs and materials, electronics, home appliances, and lightening.

Participating companies include Huawei and Samsung-China. Raafat said he expects the exhibition to witness contracts worth about EGP 700m, noting that the products follow European standards, which allows them to enter the European market.
